Sacha Omega is produced from the Sacha Inchi seed.  The oil is extracted from the seed of the fruit.  The plant is a quick growing forest dweller that thrives in humid climates.  In the jungles of the Amazon rain forest, this plant flowers very quickly and will bear fruits within eight months of being planted.  It was discovered six years ago and is a product of Peru.

The popularity of this oil is quickly growing with uses in food industries, nutrition supplements and of course cosmetics.  With one of the highest concentrations of Omega fatty acids available in a plant oil, the Sacha Omega has a nourishing and nutritional effect on all areas of the skin especially on the face. Though Sherry does not recommend her Formula 5 for the face or neck because of her other ingredients. Formula 5 is for Hands & Body. Another benefit of the oil is its amount of antioxidant vitamins A and E along with protein and amino acids.  It has a very long fatty acid chain like Meadowfoam seed oil.
